The hoodoos of Bryce Canyon formed from natural weathering give a sense of awe when viewed from the roof of the canyon. Snow can still be present throughout the year in deep rock clefts. When we visited in May snow was clearly visible on some slops and the following day the road into Bryce was impassable following a sub freezing storm overnight. It remains one of my favourite location in the US.
