Awaroa Inlet, inland from the bay and north of the tidal crossing for the Abel Tasmin Coastal Track. We arrived after midday by the DOC hut and had untill 4am the following morning when the next safe crossing window was open. So I had free time to wander up to the head of the inlet and find this beautiful location. The sun just catching the tumbled rocks at the edge of the eyot as I drew near.
