Winter before the heavy snow came down by the river meandering through Assynt and winding its way to Loch Inver in the north-west highlands with the varied peaks of Quinag in the background.
Winter is coming! Drumbeg below the wind swept snowy peaks of Quinag. Only minutes before the snow envelopes the little hamlet and we are all caught in a white out.
Mist in the pre dawn air watching the watchers over the great rock circle. 20th June - one day to go!
